November 15, 2010 - Press Release - New Haven, CT


Six of Jordan Nodelman’s photographs,  “Rectangular Shadows”, “Red Bench”, “Surf Liquor”, “Left Arrow”, “Cornered Cart”, and “Liq...” have been selected by Jennifer Jane for her show, “small works, BIG CITY”.  Jennifer Jane is curating the show of small works, which will also contain the work of other New Haven area photographers, at the Sumner McKnight Crosby Jr. Gallery, at the Arts Council of Greater New Haven, at 70 Audubon Street, New Haven, CT.  The Artist Reception will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 5-7PM at the Gallery.


The Sumner McKnight Crosby Jr. Gallery features regional artists in group and thematic shows and is open 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.


Jordan Nodelman is a contemporary, digital photographer.  His photographs are true representations of his environment and tend toward simplicity and minimalism.  He is constantly examining surface, structure, texture and shadow, all of which is represented in his photographs.  Jordan lives in Connecticut and can be found driving around the region with camera in hand.

July 11, 2010 - Press Release - New Haven, CT


Three of Jordan Nodelman’s photographs,  “Green House”, “Pruned”, and “Happy Cab”, have been selected for this year’s City-Wide Open Studios, juried exhibition at ArtSpace New Haven, on Orange Street, in downtown New Haven.  The exhibition will open on July 30, 2010, from 6-8PM and run through September 4, 2010.


This juried exhibition is co-organized by guest jurors, Kristina Newman-Scott, Director of Visual Arts, Real Art Ways, and Patricia Hickson, Curator of Contemporary Art, The Wadsworth Atheneum.


The exhibition kicks off New Haven’s City Wide Open Studios held over various weekends through October 2010.  Please check back for news on where Jordan will be showing during the open studios weekends.


Artspace, located in New Haven’s historic Ninth Square, presents local and national visual art for the benefit of the Greater New Haven arts community.


Jordan Nodelman is a contemporary photographer focusing on various subject matter.  He is constantly examining surface, structure, texture and shadow, all of which is represented in his photographs.  Jordan lives in Connecticut and can be found driving around the region with camera in hand.
